After Albert backs out of a gunfight, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man. When a mysterious and beautiful woman rides into town, she helps him find his courage and they begin to fall in love. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge, the farmer must put his newfound courage to the test.

A painter's muse is traditionally depicted as the source of inspiration and many a heartache. In Renoir, she inspires both the elderly widow Pierre-August as well as his son Jean, who arrives injured from World War I. Based on a true story, the film paints a complex relationship between father and son - though in this case, the father is a world-renowned master painter, and the son would become one of the great film directors.

Rani is a 24-year-old girl born and brought up in a Punjabi conservative family, residing in Rajouri, New Delhi. Being the only girl in such a conservative family, she was always protected to such an extent that even if she had to go to the grocery store round the corner, her mother would ask her younger brother to accompany her to the shop. When she was of the right age, her parents got her to meet Vijay (son of their close family friend) and soon after much coaxing and 'typical boy trying to impress girl process', Rani starts to like Vijay and in her mind has already accepted him as her Man. Engagement follows suite and the wedding planned 6 months post, as Vijay has to go to England to join his job as an engineer. So with dreams of her wedding and well planned honey moon, Rani and her family start the preparations for the wedding. As the dates reach closer, with all relatives and functions in flow and Vijay back in the country for the wedding, Vijay calls off the wedding citing a mismatch of interests and life style etc. Rani is unable to come to terms with this. This is when she decides to go for her honey moon by herself. A girl who has never been out in Delhi unescorted by her younger brother, leaves for a foreign land to go for her honey moon all by herself.

Before the Hong Kong handover in 1997, every native, male resident in the New Territories was granted the right to build a house not more than 700 square feet. Yet it had caused social unrest over the land right, until recently the Hong Kong government decided to gather all of the remaining land rights from these residents, in order to build taller apartment buildings. Law (Louis Koo) was a chauffeur for the rural tycoon Luk (Kenneth Tsang), and he was jailed for killing a major land owner in a car accident. It was rumoured that Luk was behind the land owner's death, which gave Luk a competitive edge in the native apartment development deal. When Law gets out of prison five years later, the world has changed. Luk's corporation has grown more powerful, while Luk's right-hand man Keung (Sean Lau) has his own agenda to pursue. But things take a surprising turn. With the help of Law's prison mate and computer whiz Joe (Daniel Wu), Law drugs Sean and his brothers in the drinks, then modify their mobile phones for wiretapping, Joe gets acquainted with the materialistic single mom Eva (Zhou Xun), who turns out to have a dark history with both Law and Keung. Through the eavesdropping, Law realises Keung's ultimate plan, which may change Hong Kong's land development forever.
In a dystopian Detroit, abandoned homes from better times house the city's most dangerous criminals. These are the grim, apocalyptic housing projects known as Brick Mansions. Unable to control the rampant crime, the authorities have walled Brick Mansions in, supposedly to protect the rest of the city from its lawless, violent, degenerate inhabitants. In Brick Mansions, only the strong survive. In this dog-eat-dog society, the ruthless, urbane, and deadly drug kingpin Tremaine (RZA) is at the top of the foodchain. One of his recent heists puts him in the crosshairs of undercover cop Damien Collier (Paul Walker). In fact, Tremaine and Damien have a history and the line between justice and revenge is razor thin. For Damien, every day is a fight against corruption and although it isn't apparent at first, he finds an unlikely ally in one of the last good souls of Brick Mansions, Lino (David Belle). Stuck in the unpredictable and dangerous concrete jungle of Brick Mansions, Lino battles everyday to live an honest life. A vigilante in his own right, he fights for a better overall community. Upon first meeting, their differences get the better of them and the thought of being allies seems nearly impossible. That is until Damien and Lino realise they share a mutual enemy: Tremaine. The duo comes from completely different worlds, whose paths never should have crossed. But when Tremaine kidnaps Lino's girlfriend, it sets in motion a chain of adrenaline-spiking events forcing the two to work together. Damien reluctantly accepts the help of the fearless, acrobatic ex-convict, and together attempt to stop a sinister plot to devastate the entire city. In the process, they learn that they have more in common than they initially realised. A grudging respect for one another leads to friendship as they begin to realise that what happens inside and outside of Brick Mansions is not what it seems.

Russell Baze (Christian Bale) has a rough life: he works a dead-end blue collar job at the local steel mill by day, and cares for his terminally ill father by night. When Russell's brother Rodney (Casey Affleck) returns home from serving time in Iraq, he gets lured into one of the most ruthless crime rings in the Northeast and mysteriously disappears. Lack of ideas again, Lucius travels to modern Japan through the time slip and meets Manami (Aya Ueto) again, who is now a reporter for a magazine which covers bathroom. With the help of the flat faced Clan, Lucius finally finish the new thermae. Meanwhile, Emperor Hadrian (Masachika Ichimura) wants to maintain peace with the thermae, but Ceionius (Kazuki Kitamura) wants to extend the territory by war. Emperor Hadrian and the Ceionius soon have a confrontation and Rome become divided. How can Lucius solve the biggest crisis in Rome? Will Rome finally disappear in history?
